Bruce Edgar, M.A.B.S.

Bruce is a missionary in his fourth term of service with ABWE in Nicaragua.  Bruce is currently serving as the Church Planter Coordinator and is involved in full-time theological training and mentoring of Nicaraguan pastors. Bruce and his family also host multiple short term teams each year that work alongside Nicaraguan church plants to help in their development.  

Prior to serving in Nicaragua, the family lived in Lakeland, Florida, where he taught at Lakeland Christian School, ministered in various ways as a part of the body of Heritage Baptist Church, and volunteered at Camp Gilead in Polk City, Florida, for more than a decade.  We have been on various short term missions trips to Ecuador, Russia, and Nicaragua. 

Bruce is the vice-chairman of the Leverage Ministries Board of Directors.
