Ben johnson

Ben is the Systems Administrator for Lakeland Christian School and the owner of Sunshine State Drones, a Lakeland-based aerial media company. Ben has been heavily involved in camping ministry since the age of 15. Working under the leadership of Scott Hirdes, Ben served as Camp Gilead in numerous capacities ranging from counselor to Activities Director to full-time Program Director. He has also assisted with the YFC Wilderness Camp ministry for the past seven years.

Ben received his Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Cedarville University (Cedarville, Ohio) in 2003. He is currently working on a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas Permian Basin.

A lifetime Lakeland native, Ben and his wife Sandy have two children — daughter Norah and son Britt. He is a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
